We have our own garden plot at the UF Organic Garden Cooperative and we are planning to grow veggies and herbs. Before planting anything though, there is a lot of weeding to do, but we are getting closer to the next stage! One of my dreams to grow our own produce has come true!
Weeding out
We are done with the weeds! Time for planting! In four garden plots, we planted various Fall Florida veggies, such as radishes, lettuce, carrots, beets, parsley, and turnips. We water them every other day. Thanks to the fertile Floridian soil and sun warmth, we can already see the radish sprouts. It took the radishes 5 days to peek out of the ground! Impressive!
